Casino News: Euro SuperEnalotto still breaking the record

Euro SuperEnalotto still breaking the record

 August 19, 2009, 7:36 am (2 years ago)
Italy’s multi-million Euro SuperEnalotto main prize is on its way up to reach record breaking Euros 139.9 million and waiting to be hit since a six-number winner was not found in the draw on Monday night.

Apparently the repeated roll-overs accumulated the prize since there was no winner found since January of 2009 and that led to the gigantic amount of this prize after the last win which saw 5 winners shared a Euros 39.7 million jackpot.

Associated Press reports show that the volume of the most recent top prize is accumulating more and more to attract not only Italy but neighboring countries as people trying to get tickets with the hope of becoming instant millionaire.

One lotto dealer in Modena stated to AP that around 2,000 people got together to pay Euros 81,000 for 6 tickets. There were 19 series of numbers on each ticket. If the luck had landed into their hands, they would have won Euros 56,000 each.
