Poker News: Annette Obrestad drops out

Annette Obrestad drops out

 January 26, 2009, 8:42 am (2 years ago)
A third day of the AU$10,500 Aussie Millions Main Event ended yesterday with 28 players left in opposition. The chip-lead changed hands all through the day and finally ended up with Rajkumar Ramakrishnan.

Annette Obrestad, one of the chip leaders on the third day, possibly the killer player left in the field following Patrik Antonius eliminated in 41st place. Annette outlived Joe Hachem, Kelly Kim, Scotty Nguyen and Clonie Gowen to remain in Day 3 but she did not succeed to make it through Day 4 to the last table.

Annette made a re-raise trick for Zach Fellows’s whole stack, a major pot at that stage of the competition. Members lost previous to calling with 55, much to the Norwegian’s shock and revulsion. She had only Ace-Ten and lost the race, destroying her stack.
