UK’s one of the largest gambling support charities, The Gordon Moody Association (GMA), is going to launch its e-helpline www.gamblingtherapy.org. It will be the first ever-live multi-lingual service on its Gambling Therapy. This brand new service is expected to start functioning from March 12 2007. A highly experienced group of counselors & advisors will supervise & operate the service. All of these professionals are expert in translation and offering help and advice. The launch of our multi-lingual service, brings the GMA to the forefront in providing help to cultural groups that have previously had no access to gambling support”, commented CEO of GMA, Kevin Farrell-Roberts.
GMA is inviting extensive international adoption of responsible gambling. Betfair & William Hill are also with GMA as its existing partners. GMA has included a ‘STOP!’ sign; an online link to the Gambling Therapy e-helpline, online operators can make their own contribution this cause.
Social Responsibility Manager of Betfair, Kate Stewart, commented ' we are extremely proud to be the first operator to show our dedication by displaying the STOP! Sign on our website, and hope the rest of the industry joins us in taking such steps to tackle problem gambling.'
