Apparently, the Russian government is being rather aggressive or unreasonable in their action to close all online gambling casinos and poker rooms with orders to incarcerate all illegitimate gambling operators. However, a latest unexpected development to their no baloney regulation has online players using the gambling site with the awareness that if they are busted using the gambling site regularly they will be fined or poisoned for their part in the illicit activity. This is a big move on a countries part to close all unlawfully operated gambling sites.
Russia still has officially authorized online gambling sites which are operated under their jurisdiction and regulations, but it’s the unlawful sites that have entered underground to circumvent taxation and these are the sites that this imprisonment regulation is targeting at. Thus, there is no need for players in Russia who use the regulated and taxed casinos and poker rooms to worry about getting arrested, but players who are using these unregulated and unlawful casinos and poker rooms in order to bestowed with more limitless gambling activity and higher table limits need to realize that they are leading themselves to excessive risk taking.
It is not publicized the strategy the government is going to carry out so as to locate these underground gambling sites and their punters. The Mayor of Moscow City told the president that he is going to be handling the problem of unlawful gambling and online casino operation within the city and use the help of local law enforcement agencies.
