Casino News: Cardroom2 Network closing down

Cardroom2 Network closing down

 October 5, 2009, 11:00 am (2 years ago)
Entraction Holding AB has announced that it is going to be shutting its Cardroom2 online poker room by the end of this year because of the unsatisfactory traffic.

The Swedish online gaming software manufacturer stated that Cardroom2 gives players the opportunity to take part in games of poker throughout the International Poker Network (IPN) from Boss Media. But the Solna-based firm stated that traffic between the networks is not wide and only represented about 5 % of Entraction’s income from poker.

Entraction announced that it had consequently ceased its contract with Boss Media and is going to only provide games of poker via its own network shortly.

“Cardroom2 has been a good possibility for players to play in 2 diverse networks utilizing one account,” explained Peter Astrom, CEO for Entraction.
