Cada being 21 years old turned out to be the youngest champion so far in the WSOP history after beating Darvin Moon, 46 years old competitor on Tuesday at the Penn And Teller Theater of the Rio All-Suite Hotel And Casino. The youngest of all winners is going to walk away with $8.55 million in prize money together with a gold bracelet with the PPA unveiling that Cada has been a vocal devotee of its efforts at guarding poker players' rights. “On behalf of PPA members, I congratulate Joe on his significant WSOP win and we are grateful for his strong support for the game, especially online poker,” commented Alfonse D'Amato, ex- Senator and Chairman for the PPA. The PPA unveiled that Cada started to play poker when he was very young, taking up with games including euchre and pinochle with his family. Poker turned out to be his enthusiasm following the graduation from high school and he started to put his efforts into improving his skill online and in games with his friends. According to the advocacy group, Cada is a member and wore PPA patches during the WSOP.
