A traditional proverb says,” There is always a woman after every successful man”. And this is indeed a truth, women has been playing a pivotal role in any single story of success behind the screen. Poker world is not an exception to this context. Women really have taken an important role in the development of Poker Industry also.

Men always assume themselves as a Controller of everything happening around. From a very young age, a boy is learnt from his father about the strength and power of men. A little boy is also taught to believe that only a man is capable to do any thing according to his desire whatever may be the result or reason. But, a daughter is hardly taught by her father about the power of women during her childhood. In general, a mother is supposed to tell her daughter about the real capabaility of a woman. This process initiates the reliance between two women, where a woman can expect lot of moral support and inspiration in the journey of life from another woman only.
Men have got some inborn advantage helping them to capture the pioneer position in the field of games and sports. Therefore, the men usually dominate sports cultures from the beginning of human civilization. Robust physical appearance of men works as an effective weapon in any kind of sporting activity. In case of Poker the scenario is somehow different. Though, Poker is also considered to be a sport, any kind of physical power or stamina is not associated with Poker. Physical power is not an essential ingredient to be an expert player of Poker. Interestingly, men often forget this fact and try to ignore the power & influence of women in the world of poker. It is really a blunder mistake committed by men.
Physical makeup is not at all a countable factor to be a brilliant poker player. Similar to any kind of game, practice is the main key to success in the game of poker too. An ordinary poker player can be transformed to an expert by die-hard practice only. Men have been dominating in the Poker industry over a long period of time. But, the picture is gradually changing as women have really made some drastic development in this game by practicing consistently on a long-term basis. So, women are not far behind. Women have learned each and every aspect related to poker game and emerging slowly but steadily as champion of new age poker.
. Women often engage themselves in playing tournaments only for women & share their knowledge and views about poker. It helps them to build a Poker community limited to only women with out any kind of unwanted participation of men. This is really a bright picture for both existing & aspiring women poker players.
In spite of all these facts, an expert woman player is always taken very casually while playing together with the men in a poker competition. A woman player is often unable to create any type of tension or threat to the men.

But, there are some advantages working in favor of women playing poker with other men. Men often tend to play in light mood against a woman and experience a sudden shock when the woman sitting beside him turns the game in to her foray. Men often commit silly mistakes by underestimating a woman’s ability and fall in to their own trap. On the other hand, women always remain organized and focused through out the game ultimately clinching the desired victory against men. It seems to be a surprise for most of the men playing at that time.
Actually, women are intelligent enough to use the misconception of the men regarding the playing capability of a woman. This thing surely works in favor of the women poker players.
Now, do not consider me as a total man hater, as my best friend is also a gentle man, happens to be my husband.
