Antigua and WTO Impact
May 31, 2007, 4:28 am (4 years ago)Last week in Geneva there was a report that was released that was about the DSB which is also known as the Dispute Settlement Body which is of the WTO or World Trade Organization which found that the United States had actually failed to be able to comply with the rulings that were made originally as well as recommendations that were made before by the DSB. It was found that in reaction to the actual acceptance of the United States and its wrongdoings that were discovered by the WTO that Antigua’s minister of finance and also the economy who is known as Dr. Errol Cort had a few words that he choose to use about the certain situation. Overall he stated that he wasn’t pleased with the first reports about the dispute but he was pleased with the decisions that were made this time around because of the fact that there was no room for mistakes.
