The United States of America Seeks to Remove the Goalposts in WTO Dispute

 May 6, 2007, 5:34 pm (4 years ago)
On Friday, a spokesman for the United States Trade Representative was arguing that is was not actually required to comply with the WTO ruling to actually open its borders to the internet gambling industry based on an oversight in what is known as a decade old trade agreement.
This week the major news wire services was known to carry a report in which the United States of America has said that it will actually maintain a ban on the internet gambling services despite the actual adverse World Trade Organization Ruling.
The Reuters are known to opine that particular move because of the fact that it now opens the door for the other members of the WTO which ranges from the tiny place known as Antigua and Barbuda to that actual twenty seven nation known as the European Union so that they are able to seek potential damages at the WTO.
