The Tropicana Atlantic City, a casino hotel based in Atlantic City has announced that it would go 100% from now on. So, what are you thinking now? Is it going to forgo profits from the games? Not really, this casino is a 100% banning smoking on the casino floor. This will be a real leisure zone for the non-smoker gamblers that fro, now on will not have be victimized by passive smoking.
The ideal way to go smoke free at the casino hotel is to close off sections of the casino hotel for smokers, enclosed and separated by glass doors from the rest of the casino hotel. Hotel managers have figured out this most practical solution. Non-smoking advocacy groups have already welcomed this initiative step. Thus, non-smoking gamblers can be protected from second hand smoke. A spokesperson of the New Jersey Group Against Smoking Pollution commented that it would be nice if employees were at least protected from adverse effect of smoking.
The new policy was approved earlier this month, limiting smoking to only one quarter of the casino hotel gaming floor. The regulation has also fixed a timeline for temporary solutions to close off sections from smoking. A permanent solution to separate the casino hotel floors is also being planned. Although, smoking is not prohibited at the entire casino hotel gaming floors, it is a firm step towards settling this burning dispute between smokers and non-smokers. Needless to say, all of them are avid fan of casino games.
