As per the latest figures released by gambling regulator of Italy, AAMS, gambling market of Italy had continued to give outstanding results for the year 2011. In the starting eleven months of this year, total betting amount placed on gambling games of Italy had faced 26.4% increment to Euros 69.5 from previous year, as highlighted by news agency of Reuters. The increase of betting amount for this month is also going on increasing, similar to increase in previous months.
This remarkable performance had reflected the resilience of gambling sector of Italy, in spite of having decreasing rate of global economy and intention of government to increase the tax rates. This year, Lottomatica, which is a Milan based company, had received had received the top position in the sector of only gambling. Also, another well-known Italian gambling company named SNAI had chased Lottomatica and thus, both of these companies have become active in many sectors of gambling.
