Director of the department's Business Development, Tim Craine has safeguarded the proposed new facility, according to him this will offer new opportunities for individuals living on the island.
Some people have the view that construction of this new casino will not be financially feasible.

According to Isle of Man Today, “This is a unique as well as exciting prospect to put together and match our existing visitor. We would love to work with those organizations who are interested in ownership, construction and management of hotel and resort complexes as well.”

Mr Craine further reveled that Blackpool just have 2 operating casinos and it attracts more then 1.5 million visitors per year. This means that, 2 casino facilities will fight back to co-exist in the Isle of Man.
