On 5th of August, The Kraftmaid workers won the lottery cash prize worth $99 million. They bought this ticket at a gas station in Jefferson.

Edward Hairston, a 39-year-old employee at Kraftmaid, has participated in the lottery pool form last ten years. As he was suffering from a back injury, so he was not able to work from June through August. Because of this reason, he could not participate in the lottery pool during that period.

One of the customers at the gas station commented, "It was not necessary for him to stop playing he could have easily contacted any of his co-workers, in order to continue playing in the lottery."

As per a lottery participant, "He only has himself to blame. If he wanted to participate in lottery then he has to pay his share, which he failed to. Thus, he should not be entitled to a share of the lottery jackpot."
