The high profile billionaire is apparently in talks with the Tabcorp Holdings Ltd, an Australian wagering firm and few other firms on that deal in Macau, according to Australian sources.
Richard Branson with his versatile business empire visited Macau last week with Matthew Slatter, Tabcorp Manager, and were looking at potential locations for the resort and searched for potential partners for the casino development, the sources says it’s still on very early stages
Tabcorp is just one of the several potential partners who are negotiating with virgin but is expected to play a major role in the development and operation of the casino.
According to those Australian source it is being discussed the Tabcorp and Virgin will have equal shares of the project.
A spokesperson for Virgin Group said nothing had been decided. A spokeperson for Tabcorp said: "We don't comment on rumor and speculation".
