Microgaming, one of the leading online gaming software providers has recently launched a package of Android casino games, making it the first company to make such an offering for the device. The gaming giant said that it has launched the Android gambling application as a part of its ongoing enhancement of the casino products.
Mike Hebden, Microgaming head of casino said that the interest concerning the new Android casino platform was substantial, stating that the Froyo user interface and the gaming experience is as good as the iPhone.
He also stated “Android has got more impetus than any other existing platform and is basically driving the amplified sales of smart phones; several pad style devices will soon be running at the Android v2.2."
It is anticipated that in the upcoming months Spin3, the Microgaming mobile partner will also releasing more applications for the Android powered device as a part of a broader platform.
