The Gaming Control Board of Pennsylvania recently fined the Mount Airy 1 LLC, which happens to be the operator of the Mount Airy Casino Resort and was fined $70,000 for violating the gambling restrictions concerned with the minors.
The Board commonly agreed on a consent agreement discussed by the Office of Enforcement Counsel for the two underage gaming violations in 2010 at the Monroe County casino which involves under aged of fifteen and sixteen years.
The fine which is levied at the casino of Mount Airy is the second one for violating gaming rules for the underage by the Board. In the same year in March the casino was fined for $100,000 for violating and permitting six underage players. The contract also made it essential for the casino to buy 8 scanning devices that are to be used for identification.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Act and Race Horse Development states that it is illegitimate for persons under the age of 21 years to wager, play or to make an attempt to play a table games or slot machines at a licensed facility.
