One of the world’s influential amongst land-based gaming companies, Harrah's Entertainment Incorporated, has formally altered its name to Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
The Las Vegas gaming giant, established in 1937, made a announcement that it will continue to maintain its former name as one of the primary brands.
Gary Loveman, The President and CEO of the Harrah’s Entertainment said:"In recognition of Caesars' status as the world’s most respected and pre-eminent casino brand, we have changed the name of our parent company to Caesars Entertainment Corporation,"
The news was not a big surprise as the company had formerly disclosed its plan to make the name alterations in the month.
Caesars have the possession of more than 50 properties in six different countries, including the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Caesars brand and the Caesars Atlantic City.
It also includes Total Rewards, the popular World Series of Poker and the Horseshoe in its striking stable.
