Betex Group Chinese operation
 January 26, 2010, 11:06 am (1 year ago)The UK group Betex Group plc has revealed that its Chinese operation has penned an exclusive five-year agreement with Nanjing Welfare Lottery Management Centre to start up and run a latest retail lottery concept throughout Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province.Betex by now has built sport lottery deals in Hebei, Guizhou and Guangdong.
The latest deal gives the Betex an opportunity to advertise and sell all Welfare Lottery products from kiosk-style point-of-sale outlets in footfall places such as supermarkets. Some of the products are traditional computerized lottery games, scratch cards and high-frequency draws. Starting at the beginning of February, Betex is going to first run twenty Betex and Welfare Lottery co-branded kiosks for 6 months previous to extending the retail estate to 150 by the end of 2010.
Betex has penned distribution contracts as well with some premier retail brand outlets in Nanjing, which is going to give the company an opportunity to site kiosks within chosen high-footfall shops over the license period.
