Belgium keeps on putting restriction on online casino

 January 6, 2010, 12:23 pm (1 year ago)
The government of Belgium keeps on developing its projected regulations for online casinos and Internet gambling, in spite of estimation from the European Commission that a lot of the terms do not stick to the European Union Treaty. Belgian regulations would need a physical presence in the country, even supposing EU open market regulations need Belgium to approve businesses based in other EU territories.

The Belgian regulations would also require Internet casino operators gain a Belgian license, which are to be restricted in number and to favor Belgian companies in the authorization process. EU rules state that Belgium has to recognize the licensing authority of other EU member nations as its own.
