Land-based casino contributes in arresting a fraudster
April 5, 2009, 3:40 am (2 years ago)A 29-year-old Californian man who faked his own death in last September in a Laguna Beach diving incident in order to evade the charges for offences such as burglary, theft, forgery and drug charges in Orange County and a drug warrant in Los Angeles County, seems unthinkingly entered land-based casino in Las Vegas this week.
Believing that he had effectively conned everybody about his death, he entered the MGM Grand Casino this week, where he was caught cheating by Nevada Gaming Board officers and his previous documentation came up. Plans are now getting ready for his extradition to Orange County, where he is going to deal with added charges of conning an emergency and gambling deception.
