Casino News: Centrebet hits on takeover panel

Centrebet hits on takeover panel

 February 25, 2009, 7:25 am (2 years ago)
Australian online sports betting group Centrebet International Limited tried an aggressive occupation proposal against fellow Aussie firm International All Sports. It seems to have faced an obstruction that would necessitate a reconsideration of its cash bid after a Takeover Panel ruling this week.
The sovereign Panel became involved when Centrebet appealed that it make a statement of intolerable situations over obstructions to its bid, which is allegedly worth Aus$11.8 million and would generate an online sports and race wagering company with almost 125 000 direct punters.
