Economic recession damaging Nevada hotels

With the still ongoing the economic slump impacts on tourists, visitors, and hotels, the gambling state, Nevada is suffering from hotels profits going down.
Statistics announced by the Nevada Gaming Control Board indicate that main hotel-casinos underwent a huge slump in net profits in economic 2008, earning $721.2 million...only 1/3 of that in the year of 2007.

The report shows that 266 resorts earned $25 billion but there were growing expenses throughout the economic year finishing last June 30. The net income is just 2.9 % of the income, down from 9.1 % in 2007.
