The European Sports Security Association (ESSA) - a body devoted to authorized and accountable sports betting by maintaining sport clean and free from insider betting or bet rigging and manipulation - has revealed top management adjustments.
David Pittel is taking up the position of Chief Executive, assigning Khalid Ali as Secretary General. Ali is going to be in charge of managing and promoting ESSA’s interests with European and international organizations and authoritarian bodies. He was formerly Account Director for Corporate Communications at Weber Shandwick, and is practiced in public relations and public affairs, working with various worldwide companies and political institutions.

ESSA's membership contains main European sports betting companies including Bwin, Expekt, Unibet, Party Gaming, Sportingbet, Interwetten and Betbull, and the organization has the backup of the European Betting and Gaming Association.
