Cryptologic fights back fraud
September 17, 2008, 10:13 am (3 years ago)The Dublin based online gambling software supplier Cryptologic has revealed that it has united with a worldwide scam-fighting society managed by Ethoca Limited. Ethoca is going to work directly with WagerLogic, the CryptoLogic affiliated company that licenses the company's highly praised Internet gaming software and services to a lot of the world's top Internet casino and poker websites.
The contract provides WagerLogic with the capability to allow more suitable player deposits - meaning less fraud for its licensees, improved safety for its players and better revenue for the company.
"Our business is established on the twin supports of uprightness and improvement, and that's why we look for pioneering ways to guard the truthfulness of our business," explained Antony Demetriades, Managing Director of WagerLogic Ltd. "Fighting scam is both a tough and chance - for our multi-billion-dollar business, our clients, our players and our outcome."
Ethoca is driving partnership for scam organization in e-commerce and other client-not-present situations, such as phone, fax or mail-order. By firmly connecting its members to a communal pool of member-provided payment experience information, Ethoca allows its members to make more knowledgeable choices about their client transactions in a process that is well-organized, helpful and principled, and in a way that is not a competitive risk.
