Reward for highest technologyJuly 29, 2008, 10:28 am (8 years ago)This year is going to see impressive technology prizes offered for the first time at the gambling industry's biggest trade show and meeting, Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
Global Gaming Business magazine has revealed that the Sixth Annual Gaming and Technology Awards are going to be shown at an exclusive luncheon at the G2E Training and Development Institute on Monday, November 17, 2008. G2E runs from November 17-20, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Roger Gros, publisher of Global Gaming Business, explains the fresh coalition profits both the rewards program and G2E. "Global Gaming Expo is the place where technology companies introduce their fresh merchandise and services," he explains. "By showing the rewards at G2E, the Gaming & Technology Awards will express 'Best of Show' winners never before achievable at G2E." According to Courtney Muller, the gaming business vice president of Reed Exhibitions, the director of G2E, the existence of the awards program is one of the main reasons why it’s so important to participate in the show. "The Gaming & Technology Awards have long been known as the high respect for gaming tools providers," she explains. "By associating with Global Gaming Business on this program, G2E will be able to distinguish the most ground-breaking and advanced companies expanding new technology today." Suggestions are now being acknowledged in four categories: * Best Consumer-Service Technology * Best Productivity-Enhancement Technology * Best Slot Product * Best Table-Game Product or Innovation Judges are: Claudia Winkler, president, GHI Solutions Inc. in Las Vegas; Rob Russell, gaming analyst, Regulatory Management Counselors, P.C.; James Wortman, director of the Gaming Education and Research Institute, at the University of Houston's Conrad N.
