Financial highlights report an enviable twelve percent increase in a certain group turnover to £62.4 million compared to £55.5 million for the same period last year, and a gross profit rise of 16 percent to £13.2 million against £11.4 million in 2005.
The online sports content and gaming company ukbetting plc has announced the above results for the six months to June 30 2006, reporting company wide growth, particularly in advertising and affiliate revenues.
Other highlights saw gaming registrations get higher by twenty percent to 51,000, plus the signing of the Playtech contract for new single wallet casino products, the roll out of the Oddschecker marketing initiative and the re-launch of Football365 and Oddschecker.
The company’s advertising revenue showed an escalation of thirty four percent to £1.74 million, of which consumer related revenue increased a whooping eighty eight percent to £1.63 million.
Affiliate revenues through Oddschecker also reported as improved growth rising thirty two percent to £1.6 million, whilst poker and casino revenues increased by thirty five percent.
Peter Dubens, Chairman of ukbetting plc commented on the results. “Especially encouraging was the growth in advertising and affiliate revenues in addition to the improved margin in the fixed odds division. We are also pleased that poker is now integrated into our single wallet facility and casino will follow before the year end.”
