Scientific Games seals Idaho Lottery dealJuly 26, 2007, 1:40 am (4 years ago)The Idaho Lottery has chosen Scientific Games as the main seller to supply instant tickets and other services for the lottery.
The two-year contract, which could be worth up to $4.5 million, could be extended for a further six years. So far this year, the Idaho Lottery has generated $130.5 million in sales, of which $83 million was from instant tickets. "Working with Scientific Games provides us the ability to continue our tradition of offering high quality instant tickets in a secure fashion at an affordable cost," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. He added that the deal could be an opportunity for further business between the two companies. Scientific Games chairman and CEO Lorne Weil echoed these sentiments. "We plan on using our portfolio of innovative instant ticket games to reach and maintain a higher level of sales, which will help to maximize the funds available for Idaho public schools and their permanent building fund," he added. The Scientific Games Corporation supplies instant tickets, systems and services to lotteries all over the world. Scientific Games' customers are in the United States and more than 60 other countries.
