GameTech International Inc. has won the rights to install MegaPlex video poker machines.

GameTech, which provides gaming equipment and services, recently got the nod from the Louisiana Gaming Commission to install the machines.

GameTech International Inc. has a proven track record for the development of quality software for slot machines, but is also a leading player in the development of gaming applications. The company is headquartered in Reno Nevada and provides services in most US states and Europe, Asia and Central America.

GameTech’s share price has increased two fold in the last year as the quality of its products attracts more and more customers.

The MegaPlex video poker machines are manufactured by Summit Gaming, and have experienced significant growth in a number of US states.

Tim Carson, president of Summit Gaming Division, said: "We have completed the Beta testing and received final regulatory approval.

"In our opinion, the success and product performance we encountered not long ago in Montana is set to be found in the new Louisiana location".
