Ongame Poker Classic on Final Countdown
 November 25, 2006, 7:19 pm (5 years ago)The $5,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em poker online final which starts on November 4 at 3pm EST, will see the top 45 players from a field of over 230 entrants receive an all expenses paid trip to the live final in Barcelona, Spain, on December 2 and 3. The 45 finalists will then resume the tournament with the same chip stacks accumulated during the online section of the final.
With the online final for the Ongame Network Poker Classic (ONPC) just two days away, players have been feverishly entering the variety of sit-and-go and scheduled formats to qualify for Saturday’s final to play for a place in December’s live final in Barcelona.
Ongame Network has already added $100,000 to the tournament prize pool, and will pay for the flights, hotel and VIP treatment for all of the 45 finalists. All Live Final champions will be guaranteed some part of the prize pool that currently stands at $1.2 million.
Players can also buy in directly to the online final at ongameclassic.com, which also has a list of partner sites for satellite qualifiers.
Qualifiers for the ONPC are now running around-the-clock in a wide variety of sit-and-go and scheduled tournament formats. Players can qualify for as little as $1 and move up through the four qualifier stages, or buy-in at levels from $6 to $870.
