Poker News: Poker Bracelet

Poker Bracelet

The No Limit Hold'em events at the World Series of Poker attract the largest field. The players put hundreds of thousands into the prizepools with the hopes of winning the big prize and a golden bracelet.

So many top players win non-Hold’em bracelets due to their odds shorten significantly. However, every once in a while the various evens out and the big names show that they still have what it takes to beat the increasingly luck-based tournaments.
J.C. Tran, one of the many Vietnamese poker legends, took down the event for $631,170 and his first bracelet.
His Kc-Qc held up against Rasmus Nielsen's Q-Jo, leaving the unknown player drawing to just three jacks with a 7% chance to get lucky as they bet it all on the turn. The river bricked and Tran won all the chips, the biggest prize, and poker prestige.
