The hearings of Parliamentary Committee for Media, Sports and Culture are continuing with the objective of implementation of online gambling regulation in United Kingdom. The regulators of Gibraltar and Alderney recently had some discussions in front of the hearing Committee. These regulators are allowed to advertise and operate the activities of online gambling without paying any taxes to the UK government. The speakers of both these regulators had given different viewpoints during the hearing process of the Committee.
The speaker of Alderney regulator group, Wilsenach had given stress on the strict implementation of online gambling regulation. In addition to this, he also had highlighted the high risk profiles of licensed gambling operators. On the other hand, speaker of Gibraltar regulation authority had given stressed on maintaining strong relationship between regulators of UK and his own organization. He had pointed out that Gambling Commission of United Kingdom had less experience in regulatory of online gambling as compared to Gibraltar.
