In opposition to backdrop of trade mechanisms of online gambling companies in many European countries, Remote Gambling Association had launched their guidelines at EiG expo conference in Milan. These guides will hope to protect online regulators, players and operators there.
The guidelines showing key objectives for having proper tax framework and successful regulatory in case of online gambling is categorized in to 3 sections. The section for "Key regulatory objectives" stresses on requirement for competitive, crime-free and fair gambling environment. The section for "Taxation" highlights significance of taxation for increasing state revenue, along with highlighting the fact that tax will be ultimately payed by players. Final section, describes different product verticals and ways of obtaining revenue from them that is mainly directed at players. The association also highlights that the regulation should be considered as ongoing effort and not only one single event.
