Malaysian Police Has Confiscation 30 Computers in Illegal Online Gambling Raid

Police authorities in Melaka, Malaysia revel that, this weekend a raid on a suspected illegal online gambling place has resulted in the confiscation of thirty computers.

Police has received a public complain regarding a residence in the Taman Bunga area, after that at around 6:15pm they visited the premises. This was the 3rd time when police has raided this promises.

Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye, police spokesman commented, “We have raided this place twice in August and earlier for operating illegal activities.” When we reached there, the house was locked.

Police has filed this case under CGH (Common Gaming Houses) Act, where accuse may be charged RM10,000 per machine or imprisonment for 5 years. To prohibit further online gambling, the municipality has requested SAMB and TNB to stop water as well as electivity supply to the house.
