Casino News: New Credit Card From Bank Of America

According to recent news report by MSNBC, US Government is in an attempt to financially execute online gambling industry.

A mainstream media report originating from Wall Street Journal published about the new initiative taken by the Bank of America. This bank is offering credit cards to customers with out having Social Security numbers. Past credit record is also not required.

These credit cards have a higher interest rate up to 21 percent. The applicant only requires a checking account with the bank with no overdraft in last three months. But, a huge confusion is created here, as an individula must have asocial security number to get a BofA checking account.

Five Los Angeles branches of Bank of America were first selected to test the credit card program last year. Now, the bank is intends to spread this program in 51 branches in Los Angeles according NBC4. The bank has also plan to start this program from all branches in USA.

Bank of America commented that the program will be conducive for *undocumented workers* to build good credit. The cards are designed to be a first step for immigrants trying to build a credit history, Bank spokeswoman Alexandra C. Trower told Los Angeles Times that these credit cards can be very helpful for immigrants. They can develop a good credit history using these cards.

Though, Critics think this program is favoring the people violating immigration law.
