There was many speculation and rumor in the air regarding the payment freezing of Neteller. It was assumed that the authorities blocked Neteller’s payment to the former US customer of e-wallet. According to the UK based payment processor, United States Attorney's Office (USAO) had blocked the funds on Thursday and customers cannot get access to their money.
Reuters news agency quoted a statement from the Isle of Man based and regulated financial company saying,” The group has been advised that the USAO has obtained court-ordered seizure warrants seizing funds pertaining to the group's transactions."
It also mentioned that,” The amount of funds seized by the USAO or otherwise restricted by third parties does not exceed $55 million”.
