An opportunity to implement the online gambling law in New Jersey missed last year. The law was already passed by the house and the state senate, but did not receive the governor's clearance.
Now, it is back with another attempt, for the legalization of online gambling at New Jersey. However, the gaming options are quite limited to online lottery only. The major motive of the bills is to give the permission to the players seeking to buy the state lottery tickets through mobile phones and Internet.
Lotteries are different from taboo. Every state in America runs State Lotteries and earns significant revenues from it. However, the sale of lottery tickets takes place from the physical lottery retail outlets only.
Meanwhile, the proposal is currently under the assessment and judgment of New Jersey Lottery Commission. A decision is expected to come by this week when the commission members will meet together for solving this issue.
