The legalized online gambling in the US is now hanging at a halfway i.e. this way or that. As per the new released report of Fitch, one of the reputed credit rating organizations, online gambling is getting legalized at most of the places in the US.
Fitch Ratings has considered a number of factors before making this report. Gambling industry analyst for Fitch, Mr. Michael Paladino has pointed out that there are various issues to resolve for making the legalization of online gambling a reality. First issue is that will poker only cover the legalized online gambling market or it will also include other online casino services like sports betting or wagering. Second issue is the legislation of the casinos that should be federal or should be intrastate.
The most interesting thing about Fitch Rating's report is that they have highlighted those sectors of the gambling industry that are likely to be hit by regulated and legalized online gambling. Fitch report estimates that the revenue generated by the US online casino is approximately $5 billion a year. The amount will surely increase if online gambling legalizes in America.
