This week, New Jersey has been tagged with the honor of being the second US state subsequent to California which has legalized online exchange betting after the Assembly Bill 2926 was accepted and signed by Governor Chris Christie.

But, a similar bill that will ensure that the share that the state becomes the first in US to legalize the online gaming is still waiting for the signature of Governor Christie.

Under the Bill 2926 the New Jersey Exposition and Sports authority will be allowed to control an online betting exchange for the horse racing in the state which is expected to give a boost for the revenue of the industry.

The novel law will be of great assistance for reviving the casinos in the Atlantic city which happens to be the second biggest gambling market in US that has suffered a decline constantly in its fourth year too.

On the other hand, the governor has till now not signed the Intra-State Internet Gaming bill. The bill has been passed by both the houses of the legislature in January and that would permit the Atlantic City casinos to give the online casinos the power to provide their version to the residents of the state which is inclusive of poker, slots , roulette and blackjack.
