New Italian online gambling regulations released by AAMS

AAMS, the Italian regulator has at last released the online gambling regulations that were long awaited by the players and gambling operators in Italy. AAMS have agreed and authorized the operators to offer casino games and cash poker along with the multi level tournaments.

The newly included regulations that are at the moment included by the European commission include:
The commission has regulated buy ins for skill games and online poker but at the same time has restricted it to a maximum of 250 Euros.

The initial bet so as to participate in a casino or poker game session should not on any condition exceed the mark of 1000 Euros.
The Commission has also stated that the casinos should return to the players an amount of at least 90% from the total stake made on the respective game.

Casino games and Cash Poker are to be subjected to a 20% gross profit tax.

Leading analysts from the industry have anticipated that the hosting of the additional genres is likely to double the revenues in the market of Italy by 2012.
