Michael Campbell is an industry analyst who works for the brokerage company Daniel Stewart. His view on legalization of the online gambling in the US is quite optimistic. According to him, the federal government is going to accept online gambling eventually in one from or another. In the major plan of things there have been some big changes laity which has boosted pressure from major land-based casinos that Campbell points out cannot be refused to take notice. With the economy in such extremely serious situation it was bound to lead to a number of proposals on the federal and state level to regulated online gambling.
Some of these proposals were more impelling than others especially in states including New Jersey and California but once the proposal is accepted and start making its progress, a domino effect is going to occur with additional states getting involved with authorizing online gambling which the federal government won`t be able to no longer ignore. Campbell claims that there are two core players in this process and they are Party Gaming and Playtech. Both parties have began their business in land based casinos by providing their brand of casino games and with places such as Las Vegas and other main casino states having a difficult time throughout this downturn they are willing to find new ways to bring in profits.
