The operators were added to the charge that the state has by now initiated action against the owner of Pocket Kings, Full Tilt poker and the Isle of Man base software giant Microgaming.
The government of Kentucky insisted on a refund of money which was allegedly stolen in August 2005 and October 2006 by the operators, when Party gaming withdrew from the US gambling market after the adoption of the enforcement of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act.
Currently the operator has filed a lawsuit to dismiss the case for three rationale grounds. Initially the state of Kentucky hasn’t followed correct legal procedures to get hold of the legal documents of foreign companies as it had been formerly prescribed by the Hague Convention.
Subsequently the Secretary of Justice in Kentucky is not authorized to initiate such a lawsuit as it should be done by the US Attorney General in Kentucky. Lastly the lawyer dismissed the accusation against the firm as being too vague.
