Unlawful Internet gambling arrest in Israel

According to the Israeli police, they have taken in to custody 28 individuals claimed to be involved in an unlawful Internet gambling business including one of their own. A suspended executive, an unidentified manager from the computer division on leave from January, was amongst those arrested and straightaway granted a 2-day extension on the suspension.

The business was rather wide, with a network of kiosks assisting deal out disposable cash cards to a big number of Israeli citizens. Cards can worth between as low as NIS 100 and as high as NIS 5,000. The customers can scratch the cards to find a pin code which would deposit the amount into their account at a relevant online casino.
