 February 16, 2010, 9:25 am (1 year ago)
Playtech has revealed that it has decided to acquire online bingo software supplier Virtue Fusion in an agreement that is going to cost $36 million. Playtech is the parent company of ipoker and now handles a flourishing online poker network and wide range of online casino. Playtech provides numerous online gaming titles including amongst others William Hill Poker, William Hill Casino, Titan Poker and Titan Casino.

This acquisition indicates Playtech’s strategic approach as the Israel managed online gaming supplier is currently in a place to provide a complete plug and play set to latest gaming licensees with a strong pitch. Playtech CEO commented in the statement they take this acquisition as not only expanding what is previously Playtech’s competitive advantage in the increasing online gaming market as a whole, but as having the possibility to produce significant chances in lately regulated markets.
