As said by Forbes magazine sportsmoney blog, online gambling company Bwin’s shirt sponsorship of the top Italian Serie-A football team AC Milan has been handed over and re-issued to the Arabian airline Emirates.

The blog says that reports from Italy reveal that AC Milan has settled a 4-year Euro 50 million shirt sponsorship with Emirates. It will go into effect when Milan’s existing contract with Bwin expires at the end of the season.

Bwin’s contract was worth Euros 12 million a year and when it was settled 4 years ago, it was the 5th biggest shirt sponsorship in European soccer.
