A latest poker-themed television program is ready to be on air throughout the US next year providing amateur players with the opportunity to win up to one million dollars in cash.

This latest show, called Shuffle Up And Deal, is going to be hosted by Mike Sexton on the MyTV network and is being promoted as ‘television’s first family-oriented poker-themed game show’.

MyTV is by now accessible in more than 50 million homes all over the US and holds programming including WWE Smackdown. The network has shot 30-minute episodes of Shuffle Up And Deal and each broadcast is going to see 5 amateur poker players select their cards from an electronic board that the audience are able to observe. The turn of each card then either supports or goes against a contestant’s hand whilst the goal of the game is to complete with the highest cash winnings for that episode.

Successful players in respective episode go up to a bonus round and then battle for a progressive jackpot that starts at $250,000.
