The Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation got a lot of flak from anti-gambling organization this week on a promoting campaign utilizing young Canadian athletes who have been advocated by the lottery.

According to the Canadian Press, members of the GameOverVLTs anti-gambling group argued that the NSGC had breached its own promotion standards with its ‘Support 4 Sport’ campaign.
GameOverVLTs manager Terry Fulmer claimed that Nova Scotia Gaming “….is utilizing juvenile and youth athletes to endorse gambling.”

The gaming corporation has been operating a series of television commercials using young Nova Scotia athletes who have obtained funds for training from gaming profits.
