UK gambling commission result of 2008-2009
July 19, 2009, 4:55 am (2 years ago)The UK Gambling Commission issued its yearly result for 2008-2009 this week, announcing that a sum of 520 operating licenses were given throughout the year, mostly to small operators or renewed lottery licenses, of which the most of them went to land betting operators, gaming machine providers and society lotteries.
As of 31 March 2009, a sum of 4 166 operating licenses were all effective. Additionally 4 271 personal licenses were issued.
The Commission’s Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice were amended, starting the authoritarian framework within which licensed operators must supply abilities for gambling. The latest version of LCCP came into effect on 1 January 2009.
