A survey done by Harvard Medical School’s Division of Addictions has caused a reinsuring conclusion for those who oppose online gambling. As said by the reports, the big augment in online gaming did not cause augmented gambling obsession.

Interestingly, it was mentioned in the report that allegedly, online players are more likely to control their wagering according to their amount of wins and that of losses. Those influenced by gambling obsession problems, are having hard time controlling themselves.

“The very first thing we found out, which we did not see it coming, was that the enormous majority, the great majority, of players online gamble in a very temperate and mild way,” stated HMS Associate Professor of Psychology Howard Shaffer in an interview with Gambling Online Magazine.
