Intralot having difficult time with Australian lottery contract
April 7, 2009, 9:38 am (2 years ago)The Australian media are presuming on the likelihood that Intralot’s Aussie affiliated company may have its state license pulled following estimates indicating that its initial year operational numbers probably are going to be badly below budgeted anticipations.
The company started its state lottery in Victoria July 2008, and documents with details in the press indicate that apparently, Intralot is to go down $226 million short of its 1st-year sales object of $293 million. Over 200 of its 769 Victorian agents lost money from September to January, whilst 196 agents gathered below $22 a week, it is reported.
The Victorian government has informed the company it’s dead line is going to be the end of June 2009 to fix its sales figures previous to a mid-year evaluation that has the control to call off its 10-year license.
