Casino News: PartyGaming income going up

PartyGaming income going up

 March 12, 2009, 3:22 am (2 years ago)
In spite of decreasing number of players in PartyPoker.com, PartyGaming’s profit boosted dramatically last year.

Income previous to tax on operations reached $82.4m and net revenue previous to non-recurring adjustments went up by $476m. Casino income boosted $21.8m to $176m but poker sales took a sharp dive, going down almost the same amount from $295m to $274m.

The firm verified it had registered more online casino players. But they stated that they confronted hard competition in poker, particularly from the US where it is half-banned. When the UIGEA was issued in 2006 PartyGaming’s stock dropped 60%.
